BVGSA provides an opportunity for youth girls in the Brazos Valley area to participate and play the game of recreational fast pitch softball. The focus is for the girls to learn leadership skills, good sportsmanship and softball fundamentals enabling the girls to reach their full athletic potential. BVGSA's goal is for the girls to develop softball skills in coordination with developing friendships and sportsmanship in a positive environment. 

To achieve this, BVGSA will provide a supervised program under the rules and regulations of USA Softball. Please bear in mind that the attainment of championships and winning is secondary to the development of leadership skills, good sportsmanship, individual softball skills, life responsibilities, strong moral character, and having fun.
